This is the only historical photo that we were able get; it was obtained from the Lewes Historical Society. The photo was taken as part of a University of Delaware project in the 1970's to photograph all the homes/streets in Lewes. Note that the home did not have the side porch at the time the photo was taken. After we stripped off the asbestos siding, we discovered that the home originally had porches on the front and back.

I can't wait to see more of your photos and read about your restoration. I've lived for the last 15 years in a Queen Anne, in a constant state of restoration, repair and maintenance. It really is a labor of love for us old house lovers.
